The object of this game is to make the puppyblew catch a peanut.
When you first start out, the first thing you're trying to do is get the elephante to throw the peanut as FAR as possible. This happens by repeatedly pusing the right arrow key(>), then left arrow key(<).
Fast/Far Fire!
You want to get the peanut to shoot very far! I reccomend sitting up straight, placing your hand over the arrows keys in the normal position, and repeatedly tapping each key instead of using two hands. The "normal" position is to have your pointer finger, middle finger, and ring finger over the top three keys. *Pointer=left arrow key(<) Middle=top arrow key(^) Ring Finger=right arrow key(>)*. You won't need the bottom key. Practice tryping as quickly as you can (left, right, left, right) until it's so fast you can't even say it by the time you switch fingers.
Another method is to take both of your hands, and, using your pointer fingers, alternate arrow keys as quickly as possible. It doesn't matter all that much how you push the arrows, just make sure it's the easiest for you to do and you're comfortable.
When to let Go
To fire, press the ^ (up) arrow key. Never fire until the power bar is at LEAST into the red zone. Never release in the blue or purple zone. Try to get as close to the top of the bar as possible. Then hurry up and press (^) so your power doesn't go down before you can press it.
Chasing the Nut!
When first beginning to run, push the right arrow key (>) to get the puppyblew's stomach right under the shadow of the peanut. You will also come across obsticles (logs). If you let the puppy run over the log it will get hurt and slow down. So, you want the puppy to JUMP over the log! And for that, you will need special key patterns!
Key Patterns for a JUMP
* Left (<) Up (^) Right (>) => Front Flip
* Right (>) Up (^) Left (<) => Back Flip
* Up (^) Right (>) => Straight Jump
* Left (<) Right (>) Left (<) Right (>) Up (^) => 2x Front Flip
* Right (>) Left (<) Right (>) Left (<) Up (^) => 2x Backflip
Hints!
The puppy loses speed each time he jumps, so make sure to push the right arrow key (>) and get the peanut's shadow almost under the puppy.
Finishing with Style!
I always find it fun to do a flip right before the peanut lands in puppy's mouth. The puppy will catch it, and he will stop in mid-air! I love when he catches it upside-down! Try it out!
I hope you have fun and enjoy the game!
